The prison system works hard to maintain a division between those of us ‘outside’ who should not trouble ourselves with what goes on ‘inside’. This division hurts all of us.

OPEN JUSTICE is a new initiative with the power to change the conversation on the prison system in the UK.

 

We are a collaborative team of individuals with lived experience of the Criminal Justice System. We aim to provide an evidence-based critique of the CJS, informed by our own experiences of its reality.
